This year, the Lincoln Corsair receives an update to its design that includes a redesigned grille, new wheel designs, and exterior lighting elements. The more powerful turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine has also been dropped from the lineup. Now the turbocharged 250-hp 2.0-liter and the 266-hp 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid are the only available powertrains.
Gas Milage
An eight-speed automatic transmission comes standard, as does front-wheel drive. For an additional fee, Newark and Edison drivers can add all-wheel drive. And according to the EPA, front-wheel drive models get an estimated 22/29 mpg, while opting for all-wheel drive, the gas mileage dips to 21/28 miles per gallon.
Tech & Amenities
Found across the various trims of the new Corsair are several amenities and safety features. Drivers will find the touchscreen interface is easy to use, and mini joysticks are on the steering wheel to help Linden and Jersey City drivers avoid reaching for the screen as often. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration is standard, but the in-dash navigation is optional.
As for its safety features, this model comes standard with automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control with a hands-free driving mode.
